Art From Ashes prides itself on providing complete customer satisfaction. However, since each piece is individually handcrafted, exact color, design and dimensions vary and cannot be guaranteed. Absolutely no refunds can be given for aesthetic discrepancies. Once an order has been placed and the artist has begun his/her work, no cancellations, changes or refunds will be honored. If the artist has not yet begun his/her work, Art From Ashes will be happy to amend your order or give merchandise credit for a future order. Sorry, no cash refunds!


Gift certificates may be redeemed for glass remembrances as well as be applied to shipping costs. Any remaining balance will be credited toward a future purchase.


Art From Ashes will work with you to finalize a design and price for a commissioned piece. Once we have received your order with the payment, we will mail the Remembrance Kit. See The Process.


Art From Ashes accepts MasterCard, Visa, Amex, Discover, PayPal, money orders and checks. If you choose to pay by personal check Art From Ashes will wait to mail your Remembrance Kit until your check has cleared


For transactions involving credit cards, we use secure socket layer (SSL) encryption to protect the transmission of credit card information that is entered on our site. We only use your credit card number for processing your order and do not store it permanently. If you see an unbroken key or closed lock (depending on your browser) then SSL is active. The URL line of your browser will also indicate whether SSL is active: the first characters of the site address will change from “http” to “https”.


Art From Ashes values your privacy, and does not share any personal information or email addresses.

Absent unforeseen circumstances, please allow 4-6 weeks for delivery of your order once Art From Ashes receives the cremains. Extra time may be needed during November, December or January. Occasional delays may also occur when the artists are on vacation; Art From Ashes will inform you of any unanticipated delays when you place your order.


Art From Ashes provides a postage-paid mailer to facilitate sending the cremains to us. The Art From Ashes Remembrance Kit includes shipping materials that comply with USPS regulations (Publication 139 – updated October 2014) relating to the transportation of cremated remains, powders and other dry materials. The customer is responsible for the cost of shipping the completed remembrance. If you request that any remaining cremains are returned to you, they will be shipped with your finished Remembrance piece so please carefully check your package when it arrives..


It is exceedingly rare for our remembrances to break in transit. In the very unlikely event this occurs, you must contact both the shipping company and Art From Ashes within seven days upon receipt of your remembrance.

Shipping and handling cost information:

Art From Ashes ships completed remembrances to locations within the continental United States via UPS Ground. Shipping and handling costs are calculated using their standard UPS Ground rates plus a $3 shipping/handling fee. All packages sent to Alaska and Hawaii are sent by USPS Priority Mail plus a $3 shipping/handling fee.
All packages sent from Art From Ashes are fully insured for the cost of the order and REQUIRE A SIGNATURE UPON DELIVERY.


International shipping prices vary by destination. When ready to place an international order, please contact Art From Ashes to coordinate the process, and a shipping estimate will be calculated prior to placing the order. Please note that there are often additional fees which will be incurred by the recipient of an international order, such as customs fees, import tax, etc. These vary from country to country. Art From Ashes cannot and does not include these fees in its shipping/handling costs.
