Art From Ashes prides itself on providing complete customer satisfaction. However, since each piece is individually handcrafted, exact color, design and dimensions vary and cannot be guaranteed.  Absolutely no refunds can be given for aesthetic discrepancies. Once an order has been placed and the artist has begun his/her work, no cancellations, changes or refunds will be honored.  If the artist has not yet begun his/her work, Art From Ashes will be happy to amend your order or give merchandise credit for a future order. Sorry, no cash refunds!

Gift certificates may be redeemed for glass remembrances as well as be applied to shipping costs. Any remaining balance will be credited toward a future purchase.

Art From Ashes will work with you to finalize a design and price for a commissioned piece.  Once we have received your order with the payment, we will mail the Remembrance Kit. See The Process.

There are two places in the ordering process where you may add additional information – the first is in the box on the page where the remembrance itself is described, and the other is in the checkout stage of the order.

Art From Ashes accepts MasterCard, Visa, money orders and bank checks. Sorry, no personal checks!

Absent unforeseen circumstances, please allow 3-5 weeks for delivery of your order once Art From Ashes receives the cremains.  Extra time may be needed during the November to January months.

Art From Ashes provides a postage-paid mailer to facilitate sending the cremains to us. The customer is responsible for the cost of shipping the completed remembrance. If you request that any remaining cremains are returned to you, they will be shipped under separate cover and will incur an additional shipping charge.

Shipping Information:  Art From Ashes ships completed remembrances to locations within the continental United States via UPS Ground for a standard rate of $15.00 for a single remembrance (other than the Walking Stick), and adds an additional $4.00 for each additional piece shipped in the same package.  Expedited 2-day shipping is available on all standard sized packages for an additional fee of $10.00.  Due to the size of the Walking Stick the shipping fee within the continental United States is $40 and is shipped by USPS Priority Mail.  Sorry, expedited shipping is not offered with the Walking stick and additional pieces can not be shipped in the same container with the stick.  All packages sent to Alaska and Hawaii are sent by USPS Priority Mail and incur an additional fee of $3.00 – this is for both the standard boxes and Walking Stick containers.  International shipping prices vary by destination.  When ready to place an international order, please contact Art From Ashes to coordinate the process, and a shipping estimate will be calculated prior to placing the order.

It is exceedingly rare for our remembrances to break in transit. In the very unlikely event this occurs, you must contact both the shipping company and Art From Ashes within 3 days upon receipt of your remembrance.
